Our summer concerts are free and feature top musical talent.
Sweet Summer Concert Series is Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center’s popular outdoor music extravaganza.
Launched during the summer of 2022, the series is held on the lawn of beautiful Monthaven mansion. Food trucks and beverage tents are available to provide refreshments to visitors, who are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets. Admission to this amazing music series is free.
The lineup of the Second Annual Sweet Summer Concert series in 2023 included vocalist Jonell Mosser and Friends (June 3), Cole Ritter and the Night Owls (June 24), blues guitarist Stacy Mitchhart (July 22), the blues band Super Honk (Aug. 19), and blues singer and instrumentalist Tullie Brae (Sept. 9). Nashville Opera's popular Opera On Wheels joined us in the early fall (Oct. 1).
Sponsors for the 2023 series were Center Point Liquor and Tennessee Honey Festival. The 2024 series will be announced in the spring. Stay tuned. For more information, contact Executive Director Cheryl Strichik at [email protected].

Kaylin Warden joined the Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center staff in 2024 as External Affairs Coordinator. In this post, she organizes special off-site events and manages the organization’s external communications. She also works with the development department by updating the MACC’s customer relations database, and she assists the executive director in setting up exhibitions. Above all else, Kaylin is passionate about the arts. It comes as no surprise, then, that she is now pursuing a master’s degree in art history. When she’s not at the MACC, you can find her reading her favorite books (especially ones dealing with maritime mysteries), cooking, gardening, playing with her cat and two dogs, and cheering for the Nashville Predators.
