MACC presents Quilts of Valor at MTSU

Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center is joining forces with the Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project to present Quilts of Valor. The exhibition, titled Dreams Heal, will be on display Jan. 22 to Mar. 16 at the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Families Center at MTSU. The exhibit will also feature works by artist and Vietnam veteran Eddie Nelson.

An opening reception is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3. MACC Healing Arts Director Val Adams, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and artist Eddie Nelson, a Vietnam War veteran, will be on hand to share their experiences and insights. The Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Families Center is located inside MTSU’s Keathley University Center, 1524 Military Memorial, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
