Heritage Music Series: Carlene Carter

6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2026 at the MACC $100

Country music star Carlene Carter returns to the MACC to headline April’s Heritage Music Series concert. Carter has deep roots in country music. She’s the daughter of June Carter Cash and Carl Smith and the granddaughter of Maybelle Carter, part of the original Carter Family that helped shape the genre. She’s recorded a dozen albums since 1978 and had hits like “I Fell in Love” and “Every Little Thing” in the ’90s. A versatile performer, Carter blends country music with rock and Americana styles. Her performance at the MACC promises to be unforgettable.

The MACC’s Heritage Music Series presents intimate house concerts inside Monthaven’s gorgeous art museum.
