In this imaginative workshop for ages 8–11, young writers, led by Jason Tomlinson, will explore the fun of writing poetry! Through playful brainstorming games and creative pre-writing activities, participants will gather ideas and learn how to turn their thoughts into poems. They’ll experiment with rhythm, rhyme, and storytelling, all while discovering how to express themselves in new and exciting ways. By the end of the workshop, each child will leave with at least one original poem—and lots of ideas ready to become more!
