Join artist Lisa Jennings for this special healing arts workshop celebrating the enduring strength of women.

Through the lens of stories and symbols from the ancient world, like the caregivers or goddesses of old, you will create a mixed-media piece using acrylic, watercolor, and collage. You will be guided into drawing parallels between the resilience and resourcefulness of women in our modern world and their counterparts in the ancient world. During these special hours together, you will explore your strength through creative expression inspired by stories, symbols, and values from both eras.

This special workshop will be held on Saturday, March 8, 10:30 am -1:30pm at Monthaven Arts & Cultural Center and is open to adults of all ages.
