Monthaven Art and Cultural Center
Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center’s Fourth Annual Sweet Summer Concert Series opens with Cimarron 615. This terrific quartet oozes world-class songcraft and innate musicality paired with sweet vocal harmonies, moving lyrics, and taut, exciting solos. They smoothly marry bluegrass instrumentation (banjo, mandolin, Dobro) to breezy California country rock, gritty blues, and pop. It’s also worth noting that every member of Cimarron 615 – Jack Sundrud, Michael Webb, Rick Lonow and Ronnie Guilbeau – is a respected songwriter, skilled singer and virtuosic instrumentalist. If you’re a fan of The Eagles, Poco, Flying Burrito Brothers and The Byrds, you’ll love Cimarron 615.
All concert series performances take place beneath the stars on the lawn of beautiful Monthaven mansion. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and appetites and enjoy food and beverages available from Calidogs, Bruster’s Ice Cream, Sugar Shack and Music City Brisket. Admission to this amazing event is free.
