Begin the spring season with artist Lisa Jennings celebrating Earth Day with this special healing arts workshop connecting you in gratitude and care for the planet.
Using nature’s cycles, balance, and beauty as your guide, you will root into a journey of exploration reflecting on your connection to nature through art. During this convivial workshop, you will create a mixed-media Earth Mandala, a symbolic representation of harmony, balance, and our deep connection to nature, using recycled papers, natural elements, and earth-toned paints.
This immersive experience invites participants to engage with organic textures, colors, and patterns found in nature, weaving them into a personal and meaningful artwork. The Earth Mandala serves as a visual meditation, honoring both the beauty of the natural world and our responsibility to care for it.
Cost: $50

Kaylin Warden serves as the MACC’s Creative Design and Operations Manager. In this post, she oversees the organization’s graphic design work for exhibitions, events and special projects. She also coordinates the MACC’s arts outreach activities and assists with bookkeeping, among other duties. Kaylin, above all, is passionate about the arts. It comes as no surprise, then, that she is now pursuing a master’s degree in art history. When she’s not at the MACC, you can find her reading her favorite books (especially ones dealing with maritime mysteries), cooking, gardening, playing with her cat and two dogs, and cheering for the Nashville Predators.
