Monthaven Art and Cultural Center
You have a camera and you know how to do post-production work. You might even travel to great locations. So, why are you not happy with your work? Why do your images look like everyone else’s? Why are you not inspired? Why are you in a rut? Actually, equipment and technique are way less important to your success than where you point your camera. Master photographer Jerry Atnip will share his secrets to creating interesting, memorable and important work with images, stories and lessons he’s learned in his 46-year career of fine art and commercial photography. This masterclass for students 18 and up will provide hands-on demonstrations of creating environmental portraits. Attendees will learn how to make better images of people by controlling light and settings. Bring your camera or camera phone to create your images. A light lunch will be provided. The fee for this one-of-a-kind masterclass is $50. Space is limited. To register, click here.
