Forge Your Creativity - A Hands-On Metal Art Workshop (September 13th & September 14th)
*NOTE: This Class is held off location at Val’s studio.
Discover the artistry in steel, copper, and reclaimed treasures in this dynamic two-day workshop, where sparks fly and imagination takes shape! Guided by expert instruction, you’ll explore the fundamentals of soldering and welding, learning how to cut, fuse, and shape metal into expressive sculptures, jewelry, or functional art pieces.
Working with reclaimed and found objects, you’ll give new life to forgotten materials—each creation telling its own story. From the weathered patina of aged steel to the shine of polished copper, you’ll master the tools of the trade, including torches, welders, and soldering irons, while embracing the beauty of imperfection.
Perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike, this workshop is about more than technique—it’s about transforming raw materials into something extraordinary, and leaving with a piece that’s uniquely yours.
The workshop is appropriate for adults, teens, and older children under supervision. The $150 fee covers all supply costs. Please be aware that this class will be held at Val’s studio located at 2853 Rural Hill Circle in Nashville.
The two-day workshop is 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Space is very limited.
