Battle Born Opening Reception

Join us for the opening reception of Battle Born: Don Olea’s Artistic Journey into Historic Military Art. Olea, a Gallatin resident, is the featured artist for the MACC’s 7th Annual Veterans Art Exhibition. The award-winning illustrator, photographer, digital and watercolor painter will be on hand at the reception to greet visitors and discuss his work. His illustrations depict America in combat from the Revolutionary War to the present. His realistic style serves the historical military art genre well and helps to convey the story of the U.S. military to veterans everywhere. The event is free.
