Artist Lounge: Don Olea’s ‘Painting Patriots’

Join us for a special Artist Lounge featuring artist (and U.S. Army veteran) Don Olea and MACC Executive Director Cheryl Strichik. Their conversation will revolve around Olea’s watercolor collection titled “Painting Patriots: Don Olea’s Tribute to American Independence.” To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, Olea created a masterful series of paintings depicting scenes from the Revolutionary War era. This fun and informative event will explore the stories behind the images. Sip wine, enjoy tasty treats and check out Olea’s art, part of our For the Love Liberty exhibition on display through Sept. 6, 2026. The event is free and open to the public.
