Monthaven Art and Cultural Center
The sweet sounds of Appalachia are coming to the Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center this holiday season. Appalachian Road Show, a visionary acoustic ensemble, will perform in an intimate, Bluebird Café-like setting at the MACC. The ensemble is known for its new-generation interpretations of traditional Americana, bluegrass and folk songs.
Led by Grammy-nominated banjoist Barry and Abernathy and Grammy-winning fiddle player Jim VanCleve, Appalachian Road Show invites us to stop by, sit a spell, and enjoy traditional music and storytelling presented in an entirely new way.
Some Appalachian-inspired tastings will be available along with complimentary craft beer, wine and a bit of moonshine. Seating is limited for the two performances at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
