Monthaven Art and Cultural Center
In celebration of Bill Puryear’s artwork, which is on display at the MACC through July 23, we’ve focused our recent Lunch and Learn workshops on the fine art of landscape painting. Now, students ages 18 and up will take their work to the next level as they experiment with the art of creating abstract landscapes. Teacher Nathaniel Evans will introduce students to techniques of line, color and texture that enhance a landscape’s sense of mystery while maintaining a toehold in the real world. Beginners and advanced students are all welcome. To register for either the Friday, July 14 or Saturday, July 15 workshop, click here.
