DESCRIPTION:Lunch & Learn: From Photo to Canvas: Finding Your Voice Through Line & Color - with Dayo Johnson -\nMarch 20th/11:00 - 1:00 OR March 21st/11:00 - 1:00		\n				\n				\n				\n																										\n				\n				\n				\n							Inspired by the expressive poster work of Henri de Toulous-Lautrec\, this beginner class invites students to transform a personal photograph into a painted portrait. Led by artist Dayo Johnson\, students will trace and transfer their image (or any image) onto canvas and then explore  bold outlines\, simplified backgrounds and layered color to create a portrait that blends historical inspiration with their own artistic voice. All materials are provided\, but please bring an 8×10 printout of a portrait or photograph to work from.
