DESCRIPTION:The MACC’s Sweet Summer Concert Series welcomes the vocal artist Teresa for a heartfelt tribute to the legendary singer Linda Ronstadt. A former Sony Music Nashville recording artist and a seven-time College Entertainer of the Year\, Teresa channels the spirit\, emotion and power that made Ronstadt a defining artist of the 1970s. Backed by her band Long Long Time\, named for Ronstadt’s first solo radio hit\, Teresa delivers an authentic concert experience that faithfully recreates the signature arrangements\, soaring vocals and unforgettable melodies that shaped a generation. Bruster’s Ice Cream\, Sloopy Joel and Wood Fire Pizza will have food trucks onsite. Doors open at 5 p.m. and concert starts at 6 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs for this free event.

DESCRIPTION:America 250: Veterans Art Opening and Boots & BBQ Fundraiser\n6 p.m. Aug.1\, 2026 at Monthaven and 4 p.m. Aug. 2\, 2026 at Bagsby Ranch\n\n																							 \nMonthaven Arts and Cultural Center is pulling out all of the stops in celebrating America’s 250th anniversary\, presenting a two-day event that includes a major exhibition opening at Monthaven and our annual Boots & BBQ fundraiser at Bagsby Ranch in Gallatin. \nThe MACC’s Eighth Annual Veteran Arts Exhibition opens with a private reception at 6 p.m. Saturday\, Aug. 1\, 2026 at Monthaven Mansion. Nationally acclaimed contemporary artist Tim Yanke will have some of his stylized renderings of the American flag on display. These works will share space with superstar designer Manuel’s custom-made jackets celebrating the original 13 states. Don Olea\, a Gallatin-based watercolorist known for his artwork commemorating the American military\, will showcase some of his Revolutionary War-era pieces. \nEvery Veterans Art Exhibition includes a Boots & BBQ fundraiser to support the MACC’s Between the Lines healing arts program for military veterans. This year’s fundraiser begins at 4 p.m. Sunday\, Aug. 2 at Bagsby Ranch\, 1628 Long Hollow Pike\, Gallatin\, TN 37066. Dr. Michael Hamilton\, an Army veteran\, educator and executive with Label 22 Recording & Management will be the keynote speaker.
