SUMMARY:Valentine’s Heart Sculpture Workshop: Metal & Resin (February 28th & March 1st)
DESCRIPTION:Valentine’s Heart Sculpture Workshop: Metal & Resin (February 28th & March 1st)\n\nCelebrate the season of love with a truly memorable creative experience. In this special two-day Valentine’s workshop\, students of all ages will design and create a heart-shaped metal sculpture and bring it to life with rich\, pigmented resin accents. Equal parts art\, craft\, and connection\, this class offers a joyful hands-on experience that is both meaningful and fun. Participants will learn the fundamentals of shaping and assembling a metal heart form\, then explore the magic of working with colored resin to add depth\, movement\, and luminous color. Swirling techniques and pigment blending will allow each piece to become a one-of-a-kind expression—no two hearts will be alike. Perfect for beginners\, families\, couples\, and solo makers alike\, this workshop is designed to be welcoming and accessible for both young and old. Whether you’re creating a gift for someone special or a keepsake for yourself\, you’ll leave with a finished heart sculpture and a lasting memory made during the month of Valentine’s Day. No prior experience required. All materials provided. \nThe workshop is appropriate for adults\, teens\, and older children under supervision. The $190 fee covers all supply costs. \nThe two-day workshop is 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. SUMMARY:Meet Me at The MACC: Crafting Your Artist Introduction
DESCRIPTION:This Sunday session is designed for artists who want to get clearer—and more comfortable—talking about who they are and what they do. The evening begins with a simple\, guided worksheet with prompts to help you shape a short\, authentic introduction (yes\, an elevator speech that actually sounds like you). In the second half\, we’ll put it into practice through low-pressure conversations with fellow artists\, offering a supportive space to refine your message\, and build real connections. So the next time someone asks what you do or what you’re working on\, you’re ready. Emerging artists as well as professional artists are encouraged to join us. Questions?
