DESCRIPTION:Forged by Fire: Creatures in Steel – with Val Adams\nSaturday\, March 28th/10:30 – 12:30 & Sunday\, March 29th/1:00 – 4:00\n																										 \nIn this two-day art welding course students will transform forgotten metal\, rusted tools\, discarded hardware\, and other found objects into original animal sculptures of their own design. Through guided instruction in basic welding techniques\, safety\, and metal manipulation\, participants will learn how to cut\, join\, balance\, and shape steel into expressive three-dimensional forms. \nFrom fierce predators forged out of gears and chains to delicate birds assembled from scrap wire and sheet metal\, each creature will reflect the imagination and ingenuity of its maker. This class invites students to see possibility in the overlooked\, to turn industrial remnants into living forms\, and to leave with both a powerful new skill set and a one-of-a-kind welded animal brought to life by fire. \nNo prior experience required. DESCRIPTION:Connecting Through Rhythm and Breath: A Music Workshop for Everyone – With Dave Isaacs and Liz Johnson\nMarch 28\, 2026 – 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. \n																										 \nJoin master music coaches Liz Johnson and Dave Isaacs for another special MUSICAL healing arts workshop. Connecting Through Rhythm and Breath is a shared experience in how listening\, breathing\, and making sounds together calms the body\, opens your ears and voice\, and helps you begin to find your own natural rhythm. It’s also an opportunity for busy adults to unplug and freely play\, in both senses of the word. As one past participant put it\, “you walk in as an adult\, and leave as a child”. \nNo musical training is required! You can use your voice\, play an instrument\, hit a drum\, or clap your hands. If you do play an acoustic instrument – guitar\, bowed strings\, winds\, brass\, or percussion – bring it\, but it doesn’t matter if you don’t.
